SUCCESS STORIES & TRANSFORMATIONS

Raja — a paralyzed dog who recovered with a custom wheelchair at Panvatha
RAJA

FROM IMMOBILE TO
MOBILE

When Raja, a German Shepherd mix, first arrived at Panvatha, he had completely lost function in his hind legs due to a spinal injury.

Through consistent physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and eventually being fitted with a custom wheelchair, Raja transformed from a depressed, immobile dog to an active, playful companion who now serves as a therapy animal for newly rescued dogs facing similar challenges.

CHAMPA

CHAMPA'S NEW
BEGINNING

Champa, a cow rescued from a dairy where she was considered worthless after losing mobility in her hind legs, arrived severely malnourished and with pressure sores.

After intensive care, nutritional therapy, and a custom-designed support harness, Champa has regained partial mobility and now enjoys daily sunbathing sessions in our special gaushala yard.

Champa — a cow who regained mobility with care at Panvatha gaushala
Soni — a small dog who recovered through dedicated care at Panvatha
SONI

HEALING WITH
GENTLE HANDS

Soni, a small terrier-mix, arrived at Panvatha barely able to stand, with multiple wounds and extreme malnourishment.

With daily wound care, a high-nutrition diet, and the warmth of our caregivers, Soni made a remarkable recovery. Her story proves that with the right environment and love, even the smallest creatures can lead a life of dignity.

RAINBOW BRIDGE: IN LOVING MEMORY

We honor every animal who crossed the rainbow bridge. Their stories inspire our continued work.

BRUNO (2010–2022)

Our first handicapped dog resident, Bruno showed us that three legs are more than enough for a heart full of love. His legacy lives on in our specialized canine rehabilitation protocols.

RADHA (2015–2021)

A blind cow who lost her life during the devastating 2021 floods, Radha's gentle spirit inspired our improved safety protocols for visually impaired residents.

CHOTU (2018–2022)

This brave rabbit with a neurological condition defied all odds, living four happy years despite veterinary predictions of a much shorter life. His determination inspired our "Quality of Life" program.

THE FLOOD ANGELS

We honor the memory of the precious lives lost during the devastating floods of 2019—several puppies, kittens, and other vulnerable residents who, despite our best efforts, couldn't be saved. Their memory drives our commitment to creating safer, more resilient facilities at our new location.
